Why is it asking for a credit card when I book an appointment?

All bookings require a card on file at the time of booking.

You will not be charged until the service is complete.

Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, unless your service provider schedules your appointment for you.

Any appointment cancelled within 48 hours of your scheduled time will incur a 50% cancellation fee based on the booked service.

Failure to show up for your appointment without prior notice will result in a 100% charge of the service fee. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it will be considered a no-show and the fee will be applied.

Failure to comply with these policies may result in denial of further bookings.

We kindly ask that you respect our time. This is our profession, and our livelihood depends on it. Multiple no-shows result in lost income for us.

all the faqs on waxing/hair removal

1. What is waxing?

Waxing is a hair removal method that involves applying a layer of wax to the skin and then quickly removing it, along with the hair, to leave the skin smooth and hair-free.

2. What areas of the body can be waxed?

Waxing can be done on almost any part of the body, including the legs, arms, underarms, bikini area, and face (such as eyebrows and upper lip).

3. How long does waxing last?

Waxing typically lasts between 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the individual's hair growth cycle. Hair grows back softer and finer with regular waxing.

4. Is waxing painful?

Waxing can be uncomfortable, especially the first few times. However, many people find that the discomfort lessens with each session as the hair becomes finer.

5. How should I prepare for a waxing appointment?

To prepare for a waxing appointment, it's recommended to exfoliate the skin beforehand to remove dead skin cells and ensure a smoother waxing experience. Also, hair should be at least 1/4 inch long for best results.

6. Can I wax if I have sensitive skin?

Yes, you can wax if you have sensitive skin, but it's important to use a gentle wax and avoid waxing over areas of irritation or broken skin.

7. Are there any side effects of waxing?

Some common side effects of waxing include redness, irritation, and minor bumps. These typically subside within a few hours to a day.

8. Can I wax if I'm pregnant?

Yes, you can wax while pregnant, but it's always best to consult with your healthcare provider first, especially if you have any concerns.

9. How often should I wax?

Most people find that waxing every 3 to 6 weeks is sufficient to maintain smooth skin, depending on their hair growth cycle.

10. Is waxing better than shaving?

Waxing generally provides longer-lasting results compared to shaving, as it removes hair from the root. Additionally, waxed hair grows back softer and finer over time.

everything I need to know about spray tanning

1. What is spray tanning?

Spray tanning is a method of sunless tanning where a fine mist of tanning solution is sprayed onto the skin to create a natural-looking tan.

2. How long does a spray tan last?

A spray tan typically lasts between 5 to 10 days, depending on your skin type, how well you prepare your skin before tanning, and how you care for your skin afterward.

3. Is spray tanning safe?

Yes, spray tanning is considered safe. The active ingredient in most spray tans is DHA (dihydroxyacetone), which reacts with the amino acids in the top layer of your skin to produce a tan. DHA is FDA-approved for external use on the skin.

4. Will I turn orange from a spray tan?

When done correctly, a spray tan should not turn your skin orange. The key is to choose the right shade for your skin tone and follow the pre and post-tan care instructions.

5. How should I prepare for a spray tan?

To prepare for a spray tan, it's recommended to exfoliate your skin and shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid using lotions, oils, or perfumes on the day of your spray tan.

6. How long does a spray tanning session take?

A spray tanning session typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the area being sprayed and the technique used by the technician.

7. Can I shower after a spray tan?

It's best to wait at least 8 hours after your spray tan before showering to allow the tan to fully develop. After your first shower, it's important to moisturize your skin regularly to prolong the life of your tan.

8. How often should I get a spray tan?

Most people find that a spray tan lasts about a week to 10 days, so you may want to schedule your next appointment every 1 to 2 weeks to maintain your tan.

9. Can I still go in the sun with a spray tan?

Yes, you can still go in the sun with a spray tan, but it's important to use sunscreen to protect your skin and prevent your tan from fading unevenly.

10. Will a spray tan stain my clothes?

While a spray tan should not stain your clothes, it's best to wear loose, dark clothing immediately after your spray tan to avoid any potential transfer of the tanning solution.
